Northeast Florida had a mild winter with February being quite warm. As such, our local flora bloomed much earlier in conjunction with the surrounding blueberry farms. This year, rather than doubling up on our supers, we just pulled our frames in May. We’re sure glad we did! Our early spring wildflower is quite unique with its upfront blueberry notes and the tartness is finished with a nice caramel flavor. This Wildflower honey is golden amber in color. We enjoy it in our tea and blended in a morning smoothie! Remember, consistently eating local honey throughout the year may reduce symptoms of seasonal allergies.
